We are pleased to announce that our MicroScale Thermophoresis and nanoDSF assay pipeline is now certified by NanoTemper Technologies.

nanoDSF to study protein stability

We offer the innovative nanoDSF technology, which is used to characterize proteins in terms of stability, in our service portfolio. This fast and flexible method allows the quantification of protein melting temperatures in a label-free and buffer/detergent independent manner. The nanoDSF is able to analyze protein solutions with broad concentration range (200mg/ml to 5µg/ml) offering important information on formulation. Furthermore, nanoDSF enables us to precisely study the melting temperatures of previously challenging target proteins such as membrane proteins. Besides nanoDSF assays to optimize buffer conditions, we offer screening assays for optimal detergents, screening assays for the optimal formulation and screening assays for binding partners. In addition, we use the nanoDSF to find the optimal conditions for interaction analyses by MicroScale Thermophoresis (MST). This way, we combine the synergies between these two innovative technologies.

MicroScale Thermophoresis (MST) is a powerful tool used to analyze molecular interactions. The MicroScale Thermophoresis allows our experts to study any kind of molecular interaction in solution, with free choice of buffer, allowing close to native measurements in sera and lysates. Our semi-automated MicroScale Thermophoresis platform is optimized in terms of speed, sample consumption, and cost-efficiency. Meanwhile, several integrated quality controls are enabling us to easily identify sticking and aggregation effects and to directly improve the reaction conditions, ensuring high quality data. Besides the low sample consumption our customers benefit from the broad application range of our MST services such as screening assays, binding assays, competition assays, stoichiometry assays, buffer optimization assays, or assays with multiple binding partners, which all provide a high information content. Therefore, our MicroScale Thermophoresis Services are perfectly suited for the identification and characterization of molecular interactions. Our customers and collaborators mainly work in the fields of drug development, aptamer generation, and antibody discovery.

The epigenetic toolbox

Additionally to our services with MicroScale Thermophoresis and nanoDSF technologies we offer the production of various chromatin templates and epigenetic analytical services. 2bind can help you with the production of standardized and customized chromatin templates. There are positioned mononucleosomes, dinucleosomes and chromatin arrays available. We can decorate your specific DNA template with nucleosomes. You can choose between human recombinant histones or native chicken histones and between unmodified templates, fluorescently tagged templates and biotinylated chromatin templates. Furthermore we offer as epigenetic analytical services the measurement of the interaction between your epigenetic effector and various target molecules using our MicroScale Thermophoresis platform.
